PrizePull is intended only for adults aged 18 or over. The site includes an age gate and date-of-birth check in the prototype entry journey. Before launch, the production system must connect the age/identity verification process approved by legal counsel.
Monthly spend limit
Customers should be able to set a monthly paid-entry limit, including £0. The production backend must block a transaction that would take the customer over the active limit across all paid competitions and payment methods.
Pause
The account design supports a shorter pause (for example seven days) during which paid participation is blocked.
Longer suspension
The launch design also supports a longer account suspension of at least six months. Qualifying promotional marketing should be suppressed while that suspension is active.
Monitoring and intervention
PrizePull intends to monitor indicators such as repeated limit hits, unusual spend changes, multiple payment methods and attempts to evade account controls. Proportionate intervention may include contact, cooling-off, payment blocking or account restriction.
